Let’s tell your story.

Each piece we produce at Walden Framer is crafted to fit the things that just mean so much to you – from kindergarten drawings to priceless art. Individuality and artistry are values we hold dear and that shine through in the work we create. It’s the art of storytelling.

Spirit

At Walden Framer, we share Thoreau’s perspective, “I would rather sit on a pumpkin, and have it all to myself, than be crowded on a velvet cushion.”

Craft

What truly sets Walden Framer apart is attention to every detail. We strive to capture what makes the objects you love unique then frame them with a true artisan’s hand.

Community

Our cozy shop is a home to all. We value long-lasting relationships with customers in need of quality service. The care we show at Walden Framer is the kind found in a great neighbor.

About Ed Pioli

Owner, Walden Framer

For over 25 years I have built my reputation as a creative custom picture framer in the greater Boston area one frame at a time. Along the way I’ve won national and regional awards for framing excellence. But my favorite prizes are the relationships forged with the people who have entrusted me with their framing projects – who see firsthand the results of my artistic vision and the hand skills needed to build the best framing solutions for each and every project. One frame at a time.

I’m a picture framer. It’s what I’ve chosen to do. It’s what I love to do. And sometimes, I wear a kilt.

"Ed is the most creative frame designer and frame maker I have ever encountered… His research, design, and construction abilities are unmatched!"
